East of the Sun, Fairytale Necklace

Embrace adventure with East of the Sun! Inspired by the classic Norse fairy tale, this necklace weaves silver and gold chainmail with sparkling crystals to create a necklace honoring the icy north.
 
I began East of the Sun by linking sturdy gold and silver chainmail into a twenty-one inch collar of shimmering metal lace, finished with a matching lobster clasp for adjustability. Then I ornamented the chainmail lace by securing clear crystals on turned pins.
 
These beads sparkle like ice crystallized on the eyelashes of an adventurer watching the lights dance in the dark northern sky. East of the Sun pairs well with parkas, princess gowns, and nightshirts. The sparkling silver, gold, and icy white sparkle like stars over fresh snow, ready to urge its bearer through the four winds--and onward.
