Don the finery of Eowyn, shieldmaiden and White Lady of Rohan. I begin with stainless steel chainmail diamonds, which I attach to a zinc knotwork pendant. The diamonds and pendant are attached to 20 inches of stainless steel chain, which closes with a lobster claw clasp for maximum adjustability.
 
Tolkien drew heavily on the mythology and poems of the Anglo-Saxons when he created the land of Rohan in Middle-Earth. The Anglo-Saxons were a bold and heroic people composed of mingled Ancient Britons and the Norse and Germanic invaders from over the sea. I designed the Eowyn while researching Anglo-Saxon jewelry. A simple design with the complexity of knotwork and the strength of steel, for Eowyn, fair maiden and daughter of kings.
 
The stainless steel construction makes it durable enough for riding into battle (or the playground), while still being elegant enough to wear to a victory feast.
