Farandola

Another experiment with negative space resulted in this piece. Resembling an abstract face, it reminded me of the farandolae from A Wind in the Door. They are described as looking a bit like a cross between a shrimp and a mouse.
Whether you can see the farandola in this piece, or just a grinning jack o'lantern, this piece is constructed out of stainless steel links and triangular pieces. This will stand up to grabby hands at the playground while being elegant enough to pair with a dazzling evening gown.
As such, there will be minor variations in every piece and no two will be exactly the same.
